The Asia & Pacific OTIC in Singapore (APOS) hosted the O-RAN Global PlugFest Spring 2025 from 24 February to 23 May 2025 (including the week for O-RAN internal presentations and demonstrations). Testing at the APOS site focused on the following high-level scope:
- Testing integrated O-RAN solutions (including RIC / xApp / rApp) for Energy Saving

1. O-RAN Energy Consumption, Efficiency and Savings Testing
Key highlights:
- 5 O-RAN members participated in the O-RAN Global PlugFest Spring 2025 at APOS.
- Completed energy saving testing for SUTD Energy-Savings rApp with LITEON LiteNetics and VIAVI AI RSG.
- Completed Metanoia/Sera Network O-RU + NVIDIA DU & OAI E2E Test — similar setup is tested in North American OTIC in the Boston Area to demonstrate consistent and repeatable test in multiple labs.
