We’re thrilled to share that the Future Communications Research & Development Programme (FCP) has been shortlisted for the EDUtech Asia 2025 Awards! 🎉

Out of nearly 400 entries across Asia and beyond, FCP’s submission has made it to the final round in the Outstanding Industry-Academia Collaboration category. This recognises the impactful partnership between SUTD and leading industry players including SKY Perfect JSAT, Rohde & Schwarz, VIAVI, and TMYTEK.

Together, we’ve demonstrated an end-to-end cross-country 5G New Radio Non-Terrestrial Network (NR NTN) using Geostationary Satellite — showcased at Expo 2025 Osaka, Singapore Pavilion — laying the foundation for future innovations in 6G and satellite communications.
