SUTD’s Future Communications R&D Programme (FCP) jointly supported the Rohde & Schwarz seminar, “The Road to 6G with AI-RAN,” bringing together researchers, industry leaders, and innovators to discuss the future of AI-native wireless systems and the path toward 6G.

The seminar explored the rapidly evolving AI-RAN landscape, spanning core technologies and ecosystem developments to emerging applications enabled by AI-RAN. Prof. Tony Q.S. Quek opened the event by highlighting the strategic importance of AI-RAN as a key pillar for 6G and SUTD’s strong commitment to advancing this vision. Prof. Jihong Park delivered an invited talk on emerging AI-RAN applications and their relevance to Singapore, highlighting differentiated AI services and the role of AI-RAN in enabling future intelligent 6G networks.
